Gerard Hauser Research Award - Submission Deadline January 15

If your acceptance is for an individual proposal AND you are a graduate student, then your acceptance is also an invitation to submit your completed paper for consideration for a Gerard Hauser Research Award.

At least three awardees will receive a $100 travel award and free registration at the conference, and their presentations will be featured in the conference program.

On Friday, November 20, 2015 at the business meeting for the Communication Ethics Division of the National Communication Association, the Division announced its annual awards winners. The following winners were announced:

ARST Article of the Year Award Winners

On behalf of the Association for the Rhetoric of Science and
Technology's Article of the Year Award committee, I'm pleased to
announce that this year's winners are Lauren Archer and Michelle
Gibbons. Complete citations for their articles are below. ARST Article
of the Year Award recognizes the most outstanding article on the
rhetoric of science and technology published the preceding calendar
year. Criteria for selection include:

The Coalition of Women Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition invites nominations for our 2016 Winifred Bryan Horner Outstanding Book Award. This award is presented biannually in even-numbered years for work in the field of composition and rhetoric to recognize outstanding scholarship in the areas of feminist pedagogy, practice, history, and theory.
Single or multiple authored books, as well as edited volumes, published in 2014 or 2015 are eligible.
