More evidence that the Internet is not a regulation free zone:

For nearly three decades, the Federal Trade Commission’s rules regarding the relationships between advertisers and product reviewers and endorsers were deemed adequate. Then came the age of blogging and social media.

Thought I'd share an archival tool that's pretty useful. Most stuff on the internet, we think, is ephemeral and can be removed. However, a lot of stuff on the Internet is actually archived by the wayback machine, which allows you to enter a URL and see what the website looked like and check out its content from years before (going back to the late 90s, if the website was up).

Ya gotta love this story about a course called "Internet Famous" over on TIME. The goal is for students to get famous on the internet. It's Lanham's Economics of Attention in action.
