Dear RSA Members,
I write to inform you that the Blogora, the public blog connected to RSA, is soon to end. As RSA is in the midst of exploring its digital presence and facing some changes in the way we host various media, we have decided to retire the Blogora. Fortunately, we are working hard to develop new media strategies. Under the leadership of our Director of Electronic Resources, Collin Brooke, and a great taskforce led by Casey Boyle, plans are being developed that will help keep our members connected to the Society in exciting new ways. I anticipate these new initiatives will carry on some of the work of the Blogora and I anticipate them being launched in the near future. But for the time being I would direct anyone wanting to keep in touch with RSA to join our facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/rhetsoc/ - and follow us on twitter - @rhetsoc
Many individuals have devoted their energy and talent to making the Blogora an important site over its years in existence and I want to thank all of them. In particular, I want to thank David Beard who has been the most recent chief blogger. David deserves our appreciation for his years of diligent service to our association. We will have a moment during the opening festivities at RSA16 to acknowledge the Blogora and all who were involved in its existence and also to talk about new directions being developed.
I look forward to seeing all of you in Atlanta!
