A Blogora "Screening" of RIP: A Remix Manifesto?

During South By Southwest, I wasn't able to attend a screening of RIP: A Remix Manifesto:

In RiP: A remix manifesto, Web activist and filmmaker Brett Gaylor explores issues of copyright in the information age, mashing up the media landscape of the 20th century and shattering the wall between users and producers.

The film is now available for download. Much like Radiohead's most recent album, downloaders can pay whatever they want. You can also remix the film however you'd like. I'm thinking about giving this a shot.

So, I was wondering if some Blogora-ites might be interested in a kind of distributed "Screening" of the film. I was thinking that those interested could watch the film at some point during the next couple of weeks and post responses.

Drop a comment if you're interested.

sounds great. may i ask what (software) you'll use for your remix (asked with fond memories of and deep gratitude for what i learned in/with the cwrl)? or does it just all happen via open source cinema? after commencement next saturday, i'll make time to check that out, too.

looks like a two person distributed screening :)

I was thinking I'd tinker with the tools on the RIP website. In the lab, we have iMovie and Windows Moviemaker (I prefer the latter). This is one of the few films you could put into iMovie easily (and legally) to create a mashup.
