I can understand this sentiment. Last night, I watched McCain's concession speech, and I got creepy chills listening to his audience boo about Obama, and shout out negative remarks about Rev. Wright. One of the commentators on Fox news (we were flipping through ALL the channels of the coverage) tried to talk about this, and of course was cut off. Makes me a little nervous....
The amount of hate and vitriol being spewed by the right is absolutely disgusting. I'm not so sure that an implosion of some sort would actually be that surprising. Looks like McCain supporters aren't exactly ready for reconciliation either. And it's a shame- the people have spoken, the system worked, move on.
