i could wish for a film featuring more of the greens and blues of Rothko, but this is nice. i'd probably also hit up Philip Glass for a score (hell, he's writing music for *everyone* these days!).

true fact: my first exposure to Rothko was when i went to Manatee Community College after failing brilliantly out of college at UF on my first, early 1980's attempt (there was punk to contend with. so.). for our FYC class, we had to buy the Prentic Hall Handbook for Writers, 9th ed., and it featured a Rothko on the front. i started them to look up his stuff and have been a serious fan ever since.
