romney or kay bailey hutchinson.
He'd go Romney if he wants to play it safe (even though Mormon is hardly safe for the religious right), or Hutchinson if he wants his own "historical moment." It could really go either way, but I'm starting to suspect it'll be hutchinson given all the misgivings a lot of Clinton supporters still have about Obama, and hutchinson appeals to a lot of them.
All of this runs the risk of me saying people will vote their gender, but that's not what I'm saying and that's ridiculous, but you can't help but notice some of the Clintonites and what they're saying is frustrating them. If McCain decides that that's the deciding criteria for enough disgruntled Democrats, then Hutchinson it is. If not, money's on Romney.
mccain will hold a rally in pa tomorrow. that tips the olbrechts-tyteca scale toward ridge, however ephemerally. oops -- this is rhosa. forgot to log in.
Drudge is saying that the name will be leaked at 5 p.m. central time, with a confirmation to follow at 7 or 8. If it's Ridge, it will be fun watching Limbaugh's head explode. . . .
and says she hasn't been vetted.
